State Department Makes Case for Repression and Cuba Regime Change

"Did you know Cuba has spent the last 65 years secretly influencing every major progressive movement, organization, protest and activist in the United States?" said Liz Oliva Fernández, journalist with Belly of the Beast.

"I'm not kidding. Cuba, a country that can barely keep its light on, is the master puppeteer behind Black Lives Matter, the Black Panthers, Angela Davis, Anti-ICE activists and Antifa. All with no other purpose than to destroy the U.S. from within. Even Barack Obama's first political campaign and Harvard University have been infiltrated by Cuban agents," Oliva Fernández said.

"At least, that's what Marco Rubio's State Department claims in a newly-released 100-page report that is basically an enormous conspiracy theory about Cuba," she continued.

"I would be laughing if it weren't so serious. The report has two purposes: first, anyone who opposes U.S. policy can be accused of working for a hostile foreign government, making it easier for the Trump administration to smear, discredit, persecute and silence critical voices. Second, it justifies potential regime change in Cuba by alleging that an island of only 9 million people is an existential threat to the U.S.," the journalist said.
