United Airlines to Halt Cuba Flights Amid Trump Sanctions

United Airlines has notified the Department of Transportation it will stop its seven weekly Houston-Havana flights starting in September, citing seasonal changes in passenger traffic. A drop in demand caused by restrictions on U.S. travel to Cuba in addition to Trump’s partial travel ban on Cuban nationals has likely contributed to the decision.
